Dot Shape

There are three forms of halftone dots that are commonly used today. The most common is the Dot Ellipes which gives a particularly smooth midtones as Offset Litho Machine printing above. By connecting the dots below 50% only on one axis and then, over 50% axis others, changes in this area look smoother tonal rather than vice versa with Dot Square

Dot Round (spherical) have intermediate / transition a little rough when the dot-dot is very large and start to touch, but this occurs at a higher percentage than the square dot is worth 50%, and visual effects tend to be slightly reduced because he was in the dark areas of image (picture).
The method of printing,. all of which can be affected by the preferred shape of the dot and the surface of the plate type of product that is Screen printing, Printing Flexso, on plastic, cans, cardboard, etc..
The client printer you should always be consulted when dealing with special products but instead, set ellipse dot printing job can be done to the public.
Distance Dot Halftone
The maximum distance from the screen which may of course 100% - there is no dot in the white color of the image, for solid ink in the darkest area.
But this distance is never used for most imaging (picture) as:
- The transition from 0% to the smallest dot that looks too rough.
- There is always a double dot worn on the dot when printed.
We therefore make allowances when preparing us for the output image. 80% think a dot to be developed to 90% above the printing press (printing). Then the dot can be increased 90% to 100% and all of the shadow detail that can make or stop-loss of the best results.
Suggestions to be printed after looking at the definition of halftone dot to another.
