ALFALAS® Promo „MOF“
Marking of bottle caps Ø 26 to Ø 50 mm in one line, very easy changeover
Extremely compact machine layout, ideal for the integration into existing production lines (e.g. SACMI)
All functions are controlled via "Touch Screen", no PLC control necessary, absolutely
operator-friendly
Thanks to years of experience, of course the software fulfils all requirements with regard to flexibility and safety which are requested for this application.
It was not too long ago that TAMPORINT® AG surprised the experts with a novelty that would cause quite a sensation. This was ALFALAS® „PROMO“, an automatic class 1 laser that could be used to inscribe
the insides of the closures. A real milestone for the beverage industry, since this procedure had significant advantages over the one that was previously in use.
The ALFALAS® „PROMO“ laser therefore already had no competitors at the time.
However, this was not a reason for TAMPOPRINT® AG engineers to rest on their laurels. There were already new ideas that were hoping to be implemented: the system was supposed to become even more powerful, more reliable and more user-friendly. And the main goal was to be able to seamlessly integrate it
into existing production lines and production procedures of the customer. And now the top story out of our German headquarters: "Objectives attained - the first systems has already been delivered worldwide". Even a brief glance at the new ALFALAS® „MOF“ laser (MOF = Mark on the Fly) is sufficient to see that, optically speaking, it has almost nothing in common with the previous model. It looks smaller, more compact and significantly more organised.
As a matter of fact, this system has been totally redesigned in terms of technology.
For example, the feeding has been constructed in such a manner that a direct inline transfer of the sealing caps to the ALFALAS® „PROMO-MOF“ (e.g. using a compression moulding system) can occur. However, the ALFALAS® „PROMO“ laser can also be operated in a standalone manner with the tried and tested
steeply inclined sorting conveyor.
Whichever method is used, incorrect marking is almost impossible in the future, since the caps are precisely aligned and fixed on a vacuum belt, then pass by an optical sensor and are inscribed in real time by the laser unit that is located above them. This procedure permits crystal clear marking of the inside surface of the caps, up to theedge, regardless of the machine speed.
As a result, about 1,000 caps at 30 symbols/ 28 mm cap) "fly" by the laser head every minute, which explains why the system name has the supplement „MOF" (Mark on the Fly). We should also make special note of the fact that the throughput in the Unique Message and the Simple Ratio modes is nearly identical.
