Designing with Adobe Illustrator

Adobe Illustrator provides a variety of facilities to create, create geometric shapes, and hundreds of symbols that are professionally designed.

On this occasion we will learn together how to create forms and symbols in Adobe Illustrator.

Drawing shapes.

In the design using adobe illustrator, the initial step we have to do is to determine the lay out in advance.

From the menu click File-New (CTRL-N)

Specify the name of the file, paper size, units, its color

Click OK. Layout that will appear we will create for drawing.

New start to form what we want.

Hold the mouse button on the tool menu in the toolbox shape,

and select the shape tool we want to use.

Then drag the document window to draw the shape.

We will try to draw a circle, by choosing the Ellipse tools

By holding the Shift key while dragging to draw a circle. Pressing the Shift key to limit the proportion

Filling the form with color.

Click the Fill box in the Control palette. (The Control palette at the top of the work area, just below the menu bar, or select Window> Control Palette.)

If we want to apply color in a circle, not the stroke (line). Then click in the circle to fill the circle with color.

If we do not like the default one swatch, there are several other ways to select colors:

-Double-click the Fill box in the toolbox to select the color using the Color Picker

-choose Window> Color to select the color using color palette.

-select Window> Swatch Libraries and choose from the submenu Librariy Swatch.
