Using the shape tools
To open a new document, the steps we have to do is:
1 In Illustrator, choose File> New, the New Document dialog box appears.
2 If not already selected, select Print from the New Document ProFi via the drop-down and inches from the Units drop-down menu.
3 Press OK. A new blank document will appear.
4 Select the Rectangle tool from the Tools panel. Click and drag anywhere on the artboard.
By clicking and dragging, we determine the placement and size of the rectangle.
Click and drag from top left to bottom right corner.
5 To temporarily store the files by Select File> Save As
to save the file. The Save As dialog box appears. Stay type the name of the file will be saved.
