Quickly Select All Layers
In the past, when you were still using the old version of Photoshop, to select all layers, you would rely on the Shift + left mouse button combination. Now, no longer because the process is much faster.
To quickly select all layers in Photoshop, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Alt + A (Windows) or Command + Option + A (Mac). Another way is to press Shift and select several layers manually.
Here's the complete method:
Open the Layers panel: Make sure the Layers panel is open in Photoshop.
Select multiple layers manually:
Click a layer in the Layers panel.
Hold down the Shift key and click the other layers you want to select.
That's it, all the layers you selected will be active.
Select layers individually:
Click a layer in the Layers panel.
Hold down the Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) key and click the other layers to select multiple layers individually.
Using keyboard shortcuts or manual methods, you can easily select all or multiple layers in Photoshop to perform various actions on them simultaneously, such as changing properties, merging, or deleting.
Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you have an image file open that contains a lot of layers.
2. Click the Select > All Layers menu.
Observe the difference in the Layers window. Now, all layers will be blocked, which means all layers are selected.
